Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic CNA to provide high-quality care to residents in our facility. You will play a vital role in the daily lives of our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Administer medications and document patient reactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and current in the State of Missouri.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
