Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of the RN/LPN.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient dignity and care.
- High school diploma or GED required.
