Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to special dietary restrictions.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records promptly.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA license issued by the State of Nevada.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
