Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and rehabilitative exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocol
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control standards
- Support nutritional needs during meal service and hydration monitoring
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare team members
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or geriatric experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
