Your Mission:
To provide high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes healing and comfort. You will be the vital link between our patients and the medical team, ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Patient Hygiene & Comfort: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation to ensure daily living needs are met with dignity.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance with Procedures: Support nurses and physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures, preparing equipment and patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Communication: Communicate patient changes and concerns effectively to the nursing staff and charge nurse.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and monitor dietary intake and preferences.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to call lights and assist with emergency situations as directed.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients for extended periods.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills for navigating electronic medical records.
