Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document patient conditions accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and repositioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Administer medications under proper supervision as per facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in a hospital or long-term care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
