Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Collaborate seamlessly with night shift medical teams
- Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergencies
- Update electronic health records accurately
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
