Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to implement care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and HIPAA compliance
- Safely operate medical equipment including lifts and monitoring devices
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems preferred
