Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor residents' health status and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to resident calls and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Assist with meal preparation and dining support during overnight hours
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable resident environment
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or long-term facility
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to resident dignity
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for overnight shifts
