Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, fluid intake, and output
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Respond to resident calls and emergency situations promptly
- Document care activities accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
