Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and nursing standards.
- Document patient care activities, charting changes in condition, and reporting any medical issues immediately to the Charge Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
