Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the Registered Nurse.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and assist patients for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
