Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients safely using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, residents, and families regarding patient needs.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA Certification (state license required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
