Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Charge Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation logs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Tennessee.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
