Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and behavior changes
- Administer medications under RN supervision and maintain accurate medical records
- Respond to resident call lights promptly and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean and safe environment following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
