Responsibilities
- Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing patients.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs and behavioral changes.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfer procedures safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities and medical information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid and current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
