Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents and patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Engage patients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA Certification (CNA1) in the state of Kansas.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
