We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our high-performing Night Shift team at our premier facility in Jacksonville, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients experiencing discomfort or anxiety.
Qualifications
- Current and active Illinois CNA License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
