Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake/output, and symptoms accurately.
- Assist the nursing staff with procedures, wound care, and patient transfers.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Document patient care activities and update care plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CNA (State Licensure) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and weekends.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
