Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medication protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify individualized care plans for optimal patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in a timely and confidential manner.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond to emergencies with composure and efficiency, utilizing critical thinking skills to prioritize patient safety.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Arizona (or North Carolina for travel roles).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for most unit assignments.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New graduates with exceptional performance are also considered).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid state identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
