Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal hygiene care and emotional support to patients during the night shift.
- Document patient care activities, intake and output, and changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses, following strict protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
