Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during the night shift.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by nursing staff under supervision.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor and interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety.
