Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient health status accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications as directed by the RN or LPN.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work weekends with a flexible schedule.
