Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring the highest level of hygiene and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies, adhering to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care planning.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California State CNA license (Licensure required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or acute care setting is preferred.
