Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Provide basic personal hygiene care to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Communicate patient updates and concerns to registered nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients with special dietary needs.
- Support mobility by transferring patients between beds and wheelchairs using proper techniques.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid and current Colorado CNA License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy for electronic charting.
