Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed
- Maintain clean and safe living environments
- Document care activities accurately in resident charts
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Florida CNA certification within 90 days
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to multiple community locations
