Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Support licensed nursing staff with clinical procedures and patient care tasks
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Facilitate patient transportation and appointment coordination
- Deliver emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Missouri CNA certification required within 90 days of hire
