Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to medical staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating special dietary requirements
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately and maintain confidential patient records
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of professional CNA experience in home health or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Reliable transportation and valid North Carolina driver's license
- Passionate about patient care with demonstrated compassion and patience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
