As a CNA, you will be the bridge between our patients and the medical team. You will provide direct care, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for those in our care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or willing to obtain CNA certification within 3 months of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support) is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
