Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer patients safely between beds and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Document patient care activities, intake/output, and changes in condition accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate (willingness to obtain certification within 6 months provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but we will train you.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
