Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health conditions, documenting vital signs and medical history accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical changes in a patient's condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
