Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients move safely from beds to wheelchairs or walking frames, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Hygiene & Nutrition: Ensure patients maintain proper hygiene and assist with feeding or meal preparation as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to patients, providing a comforting presence during their stay.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean, organized, and sanitized to prevent infection.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. (CNA certification preferred but not mandatory for training consideration).
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- License: Valid Driver's License and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
