Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walking aids safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification is a plus, but no prior experience is necessary for this position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new healthcare software quickly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
