Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized patient environment.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
