Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or canes safely.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
- Administer medications as directed by the RN or LPN.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification valid in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient dignity and respect.
