Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and walking with assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with feeding and hydration as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current certification as a CNA (or willingness to obtain certification through our training program).
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- CPR certification preferred but not mandatory.
