Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and change dressings under the supervision of RNs.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Monitor and document patient behavior and condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain one through our training program (no experience necessary).
- Strong compassion, patience, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Reliable transportation.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory.
