Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients to ensure infection control standards.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, operating wheelchairs and stretchers as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification through our training program (if not currently certified).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- A genuine desire to help others and a compassionate nature.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic charting.
- Current valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (for transport duties).
