Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and using walkers or wheelchairs safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities, reactions, and symptoms accurately in medical records.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required – we offer on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
