Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking assistance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CNA certification (or be willing to obtain one).
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
