Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assistance: Support patients with mobility, transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers safely.
- Communication: Report changes in patient behavior or health conditions to the nursing staff immediately.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and visitors.
- Meal Support: Assist patients with feeding and ensure they are well-nourished.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensure: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Texas CNA License.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and demonstrate empathy.
- Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
