Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Provide basic nursing care as directed by the RN or LPN, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to update patient care plans and communicate important changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients and staff, adhering to all infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities and any changes in behavior or health status in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Active CNA certification or willingness to obtain state certification within a specified timeframe.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we train great people.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods; must be able to perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
