Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Transport patients to and from different departments, such as radiology or physical therapy.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Report changes in patient condition or symptoms to the Registered Nurse (RN) immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification preferred; we provide training for eligible candidates without experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
