Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as directed by nursing staff.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, operating rooms, or other departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain certification through our training program).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record entry.
- A valid California Driver's License (may be required for transport duties).
