Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients who require assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and residents.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families regarding patient status and needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification (we offer paid training programs for qualified candidates).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required upon hire.
