Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores and injuries.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
