Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and rehabilitation exercises
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support emotional well-being through active patient communication and companionship
- Participate in shift reports and care conferences
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
