Your Role
As a CNA, you will be the vital link between our patients and their care team, ensuring comfort and dignity during their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient hygiene and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility as directed by the nursing staff.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred but not mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
