Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or response to treatment to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medications as directed by the RN, following strict protocols and documentation guidelines.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Ohio CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- Previous experience in a home health, hospital, or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to document patient information accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform manual tasks.
