Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient health and recovery progress, documenting vital signs and symptoms accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 or 4x10 schedule) as required.
